BDO hosted the first ever Young Professionals Forum event on the 7th June, an initiative thought up and formed by a committee of young professionals within BDO. Over 80 young professionals from all over Dublin attended the event to listen to guest speaker – Julie Cobb www.StyleFish.ie and “Dragon’s Den” success story and for some informal networking.

The committee plan to extend membership to young professionals working in other firms and to roll out more networking events throughout the year.

The Young Professional Forum mission is to facilitate, promote and provide a platform for young professionals in Dublin to network and engage with their peers at an early stage, so as to build and strengthen relationships that can be harnessed as a tool in the progression and advancement of their future careers.

We all have the skills to network, but very little opportunity to practice those skills. The purpose of the event was to facilitate informal networking amongst young professionals in Dublin.
