Would your customs processes stand up to a Revenue audit tomorrow?

Many businesses assume they are compliant because goods are moving and declarations are being submitted. Revenue may take a different view. For many importers and exporters, this is where unexpected risks emerge.

Join Lorna Kelly, Director in BDO's Customs & International Trade Services team, for a practical briefing exploring the customs risks businesses often overlook until Revenue comes calling.

Why attend?

In this session, Lorna will cover:

  • Why goods moving smoothly does not necessarily mean your business is compliant

  • The common assumptions businesses make about customs brokers — and where responsibility actually sits

  • The customs risks and audit triggers Revenue is increasingly focusing on

  • How to identify potential exposure before it becomes a financial or operational issue

  • Practical steps to improve customs governance, documentation and audit readiness

Who is it for?

This session is designed for Finance DirectorsCFOs, Operations DirectorsSupply Chain and Logistics professionals involved in importing or exporting goods who want greater visibility over customs risk, stronger governance, and confidence that their current arrangements will stand up to Revenue scrutiny.
