BDO Corporate Finance Limerick assist Kilkenny Abbey Quarter

The project is located on the former Smithick’s brewery site on the banks of the River Nore. The vision for the regeneration of the site is to create an urban area serving commercial, recreational and community use; while sustaining Kilkenny City’s medieval heritage. On top of providing an excellent businesses location and bringing more jobs to the city, the new quarter will also indirectly benefit a lot of the businesses already located the city.

Work has recently started on the project with An Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar, and Ministers John Paul Phelan and Eoghan Murphy visiting the site for the official launch. The team at BDO Ireland, led by Con Quigley and Brian Haugh, are delighted to be involved in a project that will support the development of Kilkenny city and also benefit those living in the surrounding communities.

We wish Kilkenny Abbey Quarter Development Limited and all other parties involved every success in the delivery of this brilliant initiative.
