BDO Ireland support the Ark with their new summer programme "The Beautiful Beasts @ Home

17 June 2020

We are delighted to support The Ark with their new programme; which is part of The Ark's 25th birthday season, sponsored by BDO Ireland.

The Ark Children’s Cultural Centre (The Ark) recently announced first details of a fun, hands-on summer programme which will encourage children to create, dance and explore the wonderful world of animals from their own homes. “The Beautiful Beasts @ Home” summer programme which will be delivered through a series of new online workshops, video tutorials, at-home activities and inspiring experiences; will encourage children to create their own artworks and take creative adventures inspired by the many creatures that can be found all around us.

Founded in 1995, The Ark are Europe’s oldest dedicated cultural centre where children aged 2-12 can discover and love the arts, exploring theatre, music, literature, art, film, dance and more. Through their work with leading Irish and international artists, the children can enjoy performances in a unique child-sized theatre, view engaging exhibitions or participate in creative workshops. The Ark will celebrate their 25th birthday between June - December 2020 with a jam-packed programme of amazing art.

While The Ark’s season of events has been forced to evolve as a result of Covid-19, our continued support is now more vital than ever in helping The Ark to commission artists, to devise and share creative activities and to reach children all over Ireland this year.
