Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO has named Teresa Morahan as its Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector lead in the UK and Ireland.

Teresa is an Audit Partner with more than 30 years’ experience and has been BDO’s Global Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) Leader since 2022. During 28 years with BDO, she has supported technology businesses as well as clients across the pharmaceutical, medtech and professional services sectors.

Her experience includes fast-growing companies, international businesses and listed groups. As UK & Ireland TMT Sector Lead, Teresa will bring together expertise across both markets to strengthen BDO’s offering and support clients in a sector that continues to change quickly.

I’m delighted to take on the role of Technology, Media, Telecommunication Sector Lead for BDO across the UK and Ireland. Having spent more than 25 years in audit and much of my career working closely with technology and telecommunications businesses, I’ve seen first-hand how quickly the sector evolves and the opportunities and challenges that creates for businesses.

With developments in areas such as AI, digital transformation and new business models continuing to reshape the sector, I’m looking forward to working with colleagues across the UK, Ireland and our global network to support our TMT clients as they grow, innovate and navigate change.
