Denis Herlihy is Managing Partner at BDO Limerick and a Partner in the firm's Tax department.
Denis has over 30 years’ experience in the provision of taxation services to a diverse range of clients ranging from agricultural, engineering and food service to high net worth individuals.
SERVICES & SPECIALISM
Denis has an in-depth knowledge of Revenue audit investigations and advises a significant number of clients annually in this area. He has represented many clients on taxation matters before the Appeal Commissioners, the Circuit Court and the High Court.
Denis holds a Master of Commerce Degree from University College Dublin. He is a Fellow of the Irish Taxation Institute and a former council member. He edits “FINAK”, the Irish Taxation Institutes annual publication that interprets and provides guidance in relation to the Finance Act. He also holds a Diploma in Arbitration from University College Dublin. In October 2011, Denis was appointed by the Chief Justice as Commissioner for Oaths for the city and county of Limerick.
