Ruth is a director in BDO’s VAT practice, specialising in VAT advisory services with over 13 years of experience advising clients on complex Irish and global VAT matters. 

Ruth has significant experience advising on real estate transactions and provides ongoing VAT advisory services to investment vehicles and property funds in the Irish market. Her work includes transaction structuring, VAT recovery optimisation and VAT advice on sale & leasing activities.

Ruth also advises domestic and multinational VAT companies on their Irish and global VAT issues, including cross-border supply chain structuring, compliance and registration requirements, managing the VAT implications of digital supplies, and the VAT treatment of financial services.
