Customs Update - Delay to label changes

The UK government has announced the postponement until  1 January 2024, to food labelling rule changes that were due to apply from 1 October 2022.

The notification includes an extension of the use of an EU, GB or NI address on pre-packaged food placed on the market in Great Britain until 31 December 2023.

The “UK/EC” identification marks may continue until 31 December 2023 for products of animal origin (POAO) placed on the market in Great Britain.
