BDO in Ireland appoints three new Partners

The new Partners have been appointed as part of BDO in Ireland’s strategy to grow market presence in key areas and assist the firm meet the growing demand for expertise and advisory on the diverse range of challenges facing businesses in Ireland today.

Speaking on the announcement, Michael Costello, BDO in Ireland Managing Partner, said:

Ursula Moran becomes a Partner in BDO in Ireland’s Corporate Secretarial Services Department. Ursula joined the organisation in 2005 and has amassed over 20 years’ experience as a Company Secretary in dealing with indigenous and international companies. She has extensive knowledge in Corporate Governance, Corporate Re-structuring and the provision of Statutory Compliance from small to medium-large private and public companies. Through the management of a large, varied portfolio of companies across a diversity of sectors, Ursula has had a particular focus in developing innovative solutions for corporate structures involving corporate secretarial advice and company formations in various jurisdictions. 

Shane Stafford becomes a Partner in BDO in Ireland’s consulting practice BDO Eaton Square. Shane brings global experience of working with some of the largest organisations, both nationally and internationally, across the private and public sector to the partnership. He specialises in advising clients in developing their vision and strategy, and then aligning and inspiring their organisation to deliver it. He advises and supports clients to transform their organisation by implementing and embedding transformational change across customer, product/service, price, people, process, technology, and culture.

Simon Carbery becomes Partner in BDO in Ireland’s Audit department. He joined BDO in Ireland in 2007 as a trainee and has since progressed within the firm to Audit Partner and Responsible Individual. He has extensive experience in delivering a thorough and robust audit, while at the same time giving clients valuable feedback on the key audit findings and recommendations for how improvements can be made.
