Ciara Dillon

Ciara joined BDO as a Tax Director in January 2020 and heads up the Food/Drink and Agri-Business Sector. Prior to joining BDO, Ciara was Head of Tax with C&C Group Plc for 10 years and a corporate tax manager in KPMG.

Ciara is a Chartered Tax Advisor and Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants with over 13 years’ experience advising on a range of corporate and trade tax matters.

Ciara brings considerable industry and commercial knowledge in delivering tax advice and solutions for clients in the Food/Drink and Agri-Business Sector. She has significant experience in dealing with enquiries from tax authorities, resolving disputes and successful negotiation. She has also advised extensively on corporate restructurings, mergers, acquisitions and disposals.

Ciara holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards “IFRS” awarded by Institute of Chartered Accountants and BA Honours Degree in Law and Accounting from the University of Limerick.
